SOTD: Thieves - "400 Dragons"
This 1979 single off the band's only album could be one of the most underrated songs of all time. The powerful female vocals and the guitar and drums course through your veins and entice you to drench yourself in hairspray and go dancing and seducing in the nearest dimlit rock bar. It's really a wonder how this band never got past that one album and this song never got the airplay it deserves, because if there's one song that rightfully deserves to be the soundtrack of the first half of the 80s, it's this one. And i dare you to tell me otherwise after listening to it. Unfortunately this is is pretty much the only song of theirs you can find readily available online and information on the band is more than scarce. I highly encourage you to add this gem to your mixtape and rock out to it every chance you get.
